Vital information on the German Furniture Market
Successful seminar for foreign furniture exporters
The Möbelzentrum Westfalen (Barntrup/Germany), for many years an attractive location for furniture trade exhibitions during the trade fair season in East-Westphalia, staged a seminar on 19 February in Poznan, coinciding with Meble Polska (18-21 February 2014). The focus of the free event was on the characteristics, restrictions, and opportunities of the German and Central European furniture and home decoration market.
The seminar offer of the Möbelzentrum Westfalen was again received with great interest: Ten participants, most of them Polish furniture exporters, attended the event in Poznan. Organizer Iwona Cerba from the Barntrup team summed it up as follows: “Obviously we have satisfied a huge demand with our offer: The exhibitors at Meble Polska took the chance to attend our seminar even though 18 and 19 February were the most frequented fair days with a 20 % plus in visitor entries.”
