Sales are booming!
ZOW Moscow well-positioned at Expocentr
The sales for ZOW Moscow are running like clockwork.
In 2011, the supplier fair for the furniture industry and interior design is running in parallel to Mebel at the Expocentr for the fifth time and has thus conquered a fixed place in the Russian trade fair world. In 2010, a new record was achieved with 17,000 visitors. The Russian ZOW is organised by St.Petersburg-based Restec Exhibition Company, which, in turn is a licensee of the German company Clarion Survey in Bielefeld.
ZOW manager Pavel Tolypin says: “We are pleased that the sales for ZOW Moscow are going so well – this year, we are benefiting additionally from the difficult situation on the Russian trade fair market.” Since Crocus Expo did not wish to extend its contract with MVK International Exhibition Company – which was sold to the English ITE Group – a new location had to be found for Interkomplekt/ EEM for 2012. The V.V.C. All Russian Exhibition Center, which Survey Marketing + Consulting left with ZOW in 2006, became the location of choice.
For a while it was unclear, whether Köln Messe with the Russian Interzum, which used to run at the same time and place as Interkomplekt/ EEM, would be moved as well. A few days ago it was announced that a decision for its relocation was made. Crocus Expo, on the other hand, is going to organise a new furniture fair in 2012. It remains to be seen how the fairs will develop at the respective sites.
“The Russian ZOW is definitely well-positioned at the Moscow Expocentr”, says Pavel Tolypin. Since it was moved to the centre of the city, the supplier fair for the furniture industry and interior design has been able to gain an enormous amount of both exhibitors and visitors. “The cooperation with the Expocentr trade fair association is tried-and-tested and we will remain at this location in the future.” Exhibitors and visitors can already look forward to a first-class business event from
21 to 25 November 2011.
The list of booked exhibitors includes companies such as Boyard, Faeton, Lignadecor, Gildo Profilati, Imawell, Mayak-Technocell, Rehau, Sloros, Slotex, T.B.M., Trade House Eurohim-1 and Valmaks, promises a multitude of innovative product novelties and design ideas for the furniture industry and interior design in Russia.
With an interesting lecture and workshop programme, the MIFIC congress rounds off the offers of Mebel and ZOW. With a matchmaking service, the establishment of contacts before the fair becomes easier than ever. In November – the Expocentr is simply the place to be in Russia.
